Sunshine
I feel like a dark cloud has dissipated
And the precipitation I anticipated
Has instead evaporated
And it’s left me invigorated
Because I was
Living in the shadows
I had no brightness shining on my likeness
Life was lifeless, trying to be righteous
But I couldn’t find the light, ‘twas lightless
Day was night, I had to light the midnight
Lamp, I had to sacrifice, I had no
Satellite to guide the path, it’s just my
Inner map and my appetite
But I made my way out of the valley, and I
Finally feel the sunshine on me, I can
Feel my line is buzzing, and I
Know my destiny is calling
